Medicinese Box Factory, with more than 50 years of history, has created
its strength in the constant improvement of its creations,
investing in new technologies and new services.
1974 – 1984
Business and ambition
In the early 1970s Gaetano, Ezio and Maurizio Tullini, three brothers from modest backgrounds, accustomed to dedicating themselves to their work, collected paper and cardboard as their second job. In the midst of the paper crisis, they purchase a press to compact and resell cardboard in order to obtain processable corrugated board. Business was going very well, and they decided to invest in a die-cutting machine in 1974. And thus, the first seed was planted for what would become Scatolificio Medicinese – a cardboard packaging manufacturer.
1974 – 1984
The company continues to grow
The workload increases as the years go by. Ezio, Gaetano and Maurizio’s commitment and dedication to the business set the pace for the company that would then be passed down through the years to new team members. With perseverance and passion, investments in new machinery and staff were made, culminating in warehouses totaling eight thousand square meters with seven production lines.
2006 – 2017
At work in the company from the start
During this period, Andrea and Cristina Tullini, who had already been working in the company for years after school, were actively supporting their father Maurizio and uncle Ezio, growing ever more committed to the work and the company’s future. Working side by side with their father in production, training new team members, and initiating projects for the expansion of the company, they not only learn the practicalities of the industry but also how to organize and manage a business.
2018 – today
Today, we invest in the people
A major project calls for a major transformation. Andrea and Cristina, leaders of the company since 2017, decide to invest in a new flexo production line able to print up to 6 colours ensuring top-quality customization, with a production speed of up to 20 000 pieces per hour, elevating the company into a new dimension.
